Frédéric Augier studied chemical engineering and fluid mechanics at ENSIGC, then carried out a PhD at the Laboratoire de Génie Chimique in Toulouse on the characterization and modeling of dense liquid-liquid dispersed flows. After 4 years of experience on polyamide intermediates at Rhodia's R&D center, Frédéric Augier joined IFPEN's Chemical Engineering & Technologies department in 2005 and was involved in various projects (xylene separation, trays and quench boxes in HDT units, oligomerization reactors, fermenters, liquid-liquid extraction, stirred reactors, etc.).
