After a PhD in Control Engineering (Grenoble INP – UGA, 2012–2015), focused on eco-management of urban traffic, I developed expertise at the interface between transportation systems modeling, optimization, artificial intelligence, and environmental analysis. As a Research & Innovation Project Leader at IFP Energies nouvelles, I have coordinated several national and European research projects aimed at reducing the energy and climate footprint of mobility (driver-assistance systems, transportation systems modeling, electromobility, charging infrastructure planning, emission estimation and prediction).
My research activities have resulted in more than 10 articles in leading international journals, 2 book chapters, over 25 peer-reviewed conference papers, as well as more than 15 published patents in the fields of eco-mobility, electrification, and environmental assessment of transportation.
In parallel, I have been involved in teaching (IFP School) and doctoral training, and I am currently co-supervising several PhD and postdoctoral researchers on topics ranging from physical modeling of mobility systems, to multimodal optimization, to neural networks for mobility flow modeling. I have served on PhD examination committees and doctoral follow-up boards, and have been invited as a speaker at seminars for the academic and institutional community (ADEME, Santé Publique France, Maathrafic, etc.).
My involvement in the research ecosystem is reflected in my roles as Scientific Co-coordinator in Control and Optimization at IFPEN, member of the Scientific Steering Board of VEDECOM, Associate Editor for IEEE ITSC and IV conferences, as well as regular reviewer for leading international journals and conferences (IEEE T-ITS, T-CST, TR Part C/D/E, ACC, ECC, CDC, TRB, etc.). I have also chaired or co-organized several scientific events, including the e3CAV (2019) and ECAV (2020) workshops.
The scope and originality of my work have been recognized with the 2016 PhD Award of COMUE Université Grenoble Alpes, and through the acquisition of competitive funding (ANR, ADEME, Horizon Europe, France 2030).
